Meet Mary Ann

Mary Ann is an experienced state legislator who fights on behalf of the residents of Helena, East Helena, and the Helena Valley.

She believes strongly in every Montanan’s right to make their own choices about how to live their lives. She has her own personal beliefs, and wants you to have the freedom to have yours. Unlike some people in today’s politics, she wants to serve everyone—not impose her own beliefs onto you.

Mary Ann knows that too often, today’s politics serve the interests of the wealthy few at the expense of regular folks. But she refuses to throw in the towel and surrender to the regressive politics of the past.

She is running for the state senate to improve Montanans’ lives. That means fighting for our democracy and personal freedoms. That means giving everyone the chance at a good life that is truly affordable, from health care to housing, from quality education to accessible child care.

She supports workers’ right to join a union and negotiate for fair wages and better benefits, and believes in building an economy that helps Main Street businesses thrive.

Above all, Mary Ann is dedicated to protecting every Montanan’s right to love who they love, be who they are, and live in our great state without fear of discrimination, recrimination, or hate.
